The Russell Ruby Resource Room
The Russell Ruby Resource Room provides up to date print resources and access to cutting edge online resources. Our print library includes books, articles, and periodicals on various topics such as starting a nonprofit, grant writing, board development, strategic planning, fundraising, financial management and accounting for nonprofits, strategic communications, and public policy for nonprofits.
The Nonprofit Resource Center is a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center. As a member of this nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit agencies, we provide visitors with free public access to grant maker directories and books on fundraising and nonprofit management published by the Foundation Center, as well as the Foundation Center’s electronic databases, The Foundation Directory Online and Foundation Grants to Individuals Online. The fully searchable databases include detailed profiles of all active U.S. foundations, as well as an extensive file of recent grants awarded by the nation’s top funders. Training in the use of the Foundation Center online resources is offered quarterly. See our events page for information about the next training.
If there is a resource you would like to see added to our collection, email your request to Rebecca.
The Russell Ruby Resource Room is open to the public Monday through Friday 8:30am –5:00pm.
