Foundation Center Resources

In addition to print and electronic materials on numerous topics, the library is home to the Foundation Center’s full range of foundation search tools, including print directories and the Foundation Directory Online Professional containing over 100,000 foundations and over 400,000 funded grant records. In addition to search databases and print materials, the Foundation Center offers a wealth of information and resources online. Free classroom training on these resources is offered periodically, and individual assistance is available at any time. Member organizations can sign up to receive free access to the eCivis online grant search database from the comfort of your own home or office. You also get access to the eCivis knowledgebase with hundreds of how to resources and sample proposals, as well as grant seeking assistance from eCivis staff, completely free! Oklahoma Foundation DataBook

Members receive a $25 discount on Oklahoma Foundation DataBook directory and database software including information on 1,126 Oklahoma foundations and detailed data on the 295 largest foundations in Oklahoma. The 5th edition of this invaluable resource was just released in June 2013, so now is the perfect time to order using the special discount form in this book.

Free Online Resources

Catalog of Nonprofit Literature

The Catalog of Nonprofit Literature is a searchable database of the literature of philanthropy. It incorporates the unique contents of the Foundation Center's five libraries and contains approximately 28,000 full bibliographic citations, of which nearly 20,000 have descriptive abstracts. It is updated daily.

Be sure to check our Library Holdings to see if the publication you are interested in is already available in our Russell Ruby Resource Room.  We can also request the publication for you through interlibrary loan.
