Funding Research, Proposal Writing,
and Fundraising Planning Services

All member organizations may request two hours of free funding research per membership year. To receive this service, please contact our office to schedule an initial consultation about your organization and funding needs. We will provide you with a list of potential matches for your organization to follow up on.

Fiscal Agent clients receive funding research and proposal writing services on request as part of the fiscal agent contract.

Researching Prospective Funders            *Members $75         Non-members $200

Includes a one hour initial consultation about your organization and project and four hours of research. We will provide you with a list of potential matches for your organization to follow up on.

Revision/Editing of Your Draft Foundation Proposal       *Members $75         Non-members $200

Includes a one hour initial consultation about your organization, project, and draft proposal. You provide a draft proposal targeting a specific funder, and we will work with you to prepare it for submission.

Single Foundation Proposal Preparation            *Members $100        Non-members $250

• A one hour initial consultation about your organization and project and the funder’s requirements
• Develop an initial foundation proposal through working with you in several revisions as needed

Funding Research and Proposal Writing             *Members $175       Non-members $350

• A one hour initial consultation about your organization and project
• Five hours of funding research and a list of potential matches for your organization to follow up on.
• Develop an initial foundation proposal through working with you in several revisions as needed

Funding Research, Proposal Writing, and Organization Coaching     *Members $250       Non-members $500

• A one hour initial consultation about your organization and project
• Conduct funding research and coach you in funding exploration within your organization or Board
• Develop an initial proposal through working with you in several revisions as needed
• Modify proposal for submission to up to 3 different funders

Revision/Editing of Your Draft Federal Proposal         *Members $200              Non-members $450

• Includes a one hour initial consultation about your organization, project, and draft proposal. You provide a draft proposal targeting a specific funder, and we will work with you to prepare it for submission.

Federal Proposal Preparation and Submission       *Members $1,000     Non-members $2,000

• Initial consultation about the Federal application process and grant administration requirements.
• Develop the proposal through working with you in several revisions as needed
• Preparation of Federal forms and required documentation
• Submission of the proposal via online submission system or mailed hard copy

Funding Plan Development         *Members $750      Non-members $1,500

Assist to develop an overall funding plan with diversified funding streams such as grants, individual and corporate donations, earned income, and fundraisers and coach your organization and board through the implementation of the plan. Not to include a capital campaign.

*Scholarships for partial service fees are available to member organizations who are unable to pay the full fee.
