The Nonprofit Resource Center was founded under the auspice of Neighbors Building Neighborhoods and continues to do the great work started in 2001.  We strive to build a community through nonprofits, engaging leaders of businesses and organizations to collaborate, communicate and create a city of opportunity. The Nonprofit Resource Center began from a grassroots group of citizens and with an endowment from the Russell Ruby Trust. Since then, we have grown and continue to cultivate nonprofits to achieve their own mission as we strive to reach ours.  We share our gratitude to Kathy Hewitt, first chairwoman, and Lisa Raasch, founding executive director, for pioneering the organizational trail.
